Christ of the Ozarks

One of the most visited attractions in all of the Ozarks, the Christ of the Ozarks stands seven stories tall and overlooks our town of Eureka Springs. The construction of the monument, completed in 1966, was done entirely by hand, everything from the steel frame to the 24 layers of white mortar to the concrete foundation woven with steel supports. From fingertip to fingertip, the outstretched arms span 65 feet, while the overall height of the statue is 67 feet.

There is no entrance fee to see the Christ of the Ozarks, allowing visitors from all walks of life to come and admire the craftsmanship as well as reflect on the life and ministry of Christ.
