Eureka Springs' Most Interesting Art Galleries

Eureka Springs is considered to have one of the country's best small-town art scenes. The town is filled with a variety of diverse artists: Over 400 working artists are located among the town's 2,400 residents. And, numerous eclectic art galleries and art studios can be found in, and around, historic downtown Eureka Springs. In this article, we discuss a few of our favorite galleries. The Statton Gallery, Madison's Garden

The Statton Gallery, Madison's Garden is owned and operated by Jom Statton. It's one of Eureka Springs' premier art galleries and is dedicated to the memory of Jom's son, Madison, who passed away several years ago. (Madison's Garden is an outdoor sculpture garden on the grounds.)

The gallery contains the works of a variety of artists, including well-known individuals from Northwest Arkansas. And, each month, the gallery features the work of a single artist. At the Statton Gallery, you'll find works from Tia Haynes, Erin Hanson, Carol Ordermann, and many, many others. 

Zarks Fine Design Gallery

Location: 81 Spring St, Eureka Springs, AR

Zark's Fine Design Gallery (Zark's Gallery) is located in the heart of Eureka Springs downtown historic district. Established in 1995 by Rick and Sara Armellini, Zark's Gallery is one of Eureka's best-known art studios. The current owner, Sallie Overbey, has managed the studio since 2012.

Zark's Gallery features a wide variety of mediums for you to enjoy. Here, you'll find blown glass, gold and silver jewelry, sculptures, photography, contemporary paintings, and pottery. Pottery is especially prominent at the gallery, with works from Sprin Street Pottery Studio showcased.

All in all, over 120 local, regional, and national artists are represented by Zark's. And, the studio has an extremely knowledgeable staff that is always available to answer your questions. 

Quicksilver Gallery

Quicksilver Gallery has been a fixture in downtown Eureka Springs for over thirty years. Here, you'll find artwork from over 100 local, regional, and national artists. The galley has a vast selection of unique works of art for you to explore. You'll find selections made from wood, metal, and glass; hand-made jewelry; chimes and clocks; photographs; and plenty of wall art.

At Quicksilver Gallery, you can also enjoy a hands-on musical instrument exhibit, where you can play unusual instruments, like brass Tibetan singing bowls, gongs, and chimes.

Wilson and Wilson Folk Art

Location: 23 Spring St, Eureka Springs, AR
Hours: 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Located in Eureka Springs' historic Flatiron Building, Wilson and Wilson Folk Art Company offers a unique collection of contemporary American Folk Art. The works are all created by Blakeley Wilson and her mom, Sylvia Wilson. The shop is also their studio. You'll find one, or both, of them creating works of art at the studio every day of the week.

Their collections feature a variety of types of art, including hand-painted furnishings, large canvas paintings, detailed needlework, and a number of prints and primitives. Cat clocks, handmade birdhouses, candles, and calendars are also included. And, if you find an image you like, it can be resized to your specifications.
